Making progress: a transformation

Many of you have been following the progress of my transformation of a basically unused terrace of my home into a new classroom space to host jewelry workshops. I’m not quite finished, but one big step has been completed and that was to install very big sliding windows on either end of the terrace to keep out the rain or excessive wind. What a difference it has made!

Since this space is to be used as a creative classroom, I’m also taking the time to so something very special...

Mastering your craft

Jewelry making can be very time-consuming. True masters of their craft have honed their skills with many hours of practice and hopefully the knowledge they gain can make things go more efficiently after they have learned what can save them time and what doesn’t work out well... gain the knowledge and confidence you need by learning from a master that has experience and wisdom to share.

How to cool off during a hot, hot summer…

…Besides all of the painting to get our outdoor area into shape, I’ve also been working on the new classroom workshop, took a vacation break when some friends from America came to visit, finished up a custom engraving order, and finally finalized some details for an enameling workshop with Sandra McEwen planned for next summer that you can now see on the event calendar.
