There have been many times in my life I have “started over.” Doing so is both hard and refreshing. Letting go of the past is difficult, especially if there is something you have worked long and hard on trying to accomplish but simply isn’t showing any results.
Sometimes the best thing to do is to take a big breath and just start over with a fresh slate. Today I’m doing that again. This time with my website… and also on a matter more personal that simply involves letting go of old beliefs that have never worked out for me so that I can clear the way for what I really want.
I’ve spent many years reading, researching, learning, and processing information on how to improve many areas of my life from business to personal relationships. There’s a lot of crap out there being spewed out by so-called “experts” along with a lot of useful information from a variety of sources. You have to trust what will work for you and take action. You don’t have to have it perfect to start. The point is to just get it going and you can improve it along the way.
Some of us get stuck in the research process. I confess that I too have done this for too long. I’ve learned a lot and I doubt I’ll ever claim myself as an expert in anything. But I do believe I know a lot of useful stuff and I’m pretty good at doing some of it.
My personality is one where I like being of service to others, but as a very independent woman I also don’t like following the rules. I enjoy leading and teaching others to think more creatively and openly. It’s my hope to inspire others through example. I don’t always get it right and I’m pretty hard on myself sometimes. I’m still working on being nicer to myself and to just keep working towards achieving my goals and big dreams.
So welcome to the new Studio di Mare Scribbles blog. My focus from now on is to write about creativity and to share my creative process along with branding information that I believe could be helpful or insightful in the ever-changing world of social media. Thanks for taking your time to read my post. I hope you will find some value here and will return whenever I post again.
Show some love!
