One of my favorite things to do is traveling. Whether it’s a road trip, cruising on a yacht, or flying overseas to another country I always love a good adventure, even if it’s just going home to see the family. Many of my friends and family alike love to hear about my travels and see photos from where I’ve been.
I really started getting their attention in 2003 when I decided to pack most of all of my worldly possessions into storage and move to Fort Lauderdale from Savannah and pursue a life for the next 3 years traveling on the seas using someone else’s dime. I decided to work as crew in the yachting industry aboard private yachts and experienced a lifestyle that many only ever dreamt of. While it wasn’t always fun and play, I often worked hard and long hours, it is an experience that I will never forget. I’ve made some great friends and connections and saw many areas of the country and islands that many normally never get to see.
