4 Kids of South Florida – Providing Hope for Kids in Crisis. Helping abused children of South Florida through the foster care system.
Big Cat Rescue – Big Cat Sanctuary located in Tampa, FL. I absolutely love tigers! I got to visit this sanctuary when in Tampa. Here they take care of all kinds of big cats that were neglected or found themselves without a home. Having been removed from the wild for too long or born in captivity, these beautiful creatures get a chance to live a life that is more natural to their way of life.
Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals – On March 6th, 2010 Lulu and I will be participating in this fund raising event with my friend, Meeghan, and her dog, TJ. Help us reach our goal and to help feed the animals in the Broward County’s Humane Society shelter. This site is available for online donations until May 6th, 2010.
Hugs Unite Us – A movement started by a friend of mine to bring people together, starting with a hug.
Neptune Memorial Reef – After handling the arrangements following my mother’s death, I connected with this organization so that they can relieve that burden from my own family when my time comes to pass on from this life.
Wyland Foundation – A non-profit organization founded by wildlife marine artist, Wyland, to promote environmential conservation. I had the pleasure of meeting him and volunteering for his last whaling wall project here in the U.S. in June 2008.
